In February 2025, Crystal experienced a series of health events that resulted in the discovery of a large mass in her pelvis and many small masses in her liver. After months of tests, scans, biopsies, hospital visits, and appointments with specialists, Crystal was diagnosed with stage 4 endometrial adenocarcinoma (uterine cancer).

Crystal's oncologist has determined she will receive chemotherapy once every 3 weeks for a total of 6 treatments. On June 2, 2025, Crystal received her first chemo infusion. Shortly after this, she needed to be hospitalized for a bile duct problem which ultimately resulted in the removal of her gallbladder, so her second chemo treatment has been delayed an additional 4 weeks to allow her body extra time to heal.

This GoFundMe campaign has been created to raise funds for Crystal as she navigates hospital bills, treatment costs, and all other financial needs related to her care.
