Crystal has worked at Wilmington Eye for eight years and is a very hardworking, dedicated employee. She absolutely cannot stand asking for help. So, we are!

On January 18, 2024, Crystal was admitted for Congestive Heart Failure where over 4 liters of fluid was removed from her lungs. She was basically drowning. The Cardiologist has determined her heart is severely diminished, functioning at a dangerously low ejection fraction (normal is 55-70 she was at 35). She has a heart Catheterization scheduled for February 1st, where the Cardiologist will determine the next step. This could be a defibrillator, Bypass Surgery, all unknown at this time.

She has medical insurance but there are always deductibles, as well as personal bills. Her Cardiologist has written her out of work, bed rest only, for an undetermined amount of time as she cannot even speak without shortness of breath. Due to being on bedrest, and limited PTO, she will have no income to pay rent, utilities, food etc. This is where she needs your help.

Anything you can donate is a blessing and if you cannot, PLEASE send prayers, good vibes, etc.
