Hi, my name is Alicia and I am Crystal’s daughter-in-law. God (and Bobby) introduced me to Crystal 9 years ago! Crystal is the most caring and selfless soul I know! Unfortunately, and as many of you know Crystal was diagnosed with Diffused Large B-Cell Lymphoma cancer in 2022. She fought a very hard physical, mental and emotional fight of six rounds of chemo and a full treatment of radiation. We were so excited to find out the news that her cancer went into remission. In the past year she’s worked hard getting her health back together. A few weeks ago she noticed a lump in her neck again. With growing concern she went back to the doctor to get more testing done. My heart breaks saying this but my beautiful mother in laws cancer has come back. As you all know Crystal puts everyone before herself. Crystal and Bob are already in debt from the first round of cancer and now they have to start all over again. Exciting as it is that Crystal is retiring her income will be halted after this summer. Crystal is on track to start CAR T Cell therapy. She’s expected to be hospital bound for at least 3 weeks following 8 weeks of being homebound. Before that she’s expected to do some chemotherapy while we wait for insurance to approve this treatment. Crystal has a very long road ahead of her that we need to take step by step! Let’s all come together and help Crystal conquer cancer so she can enjoy her stress-free and well deserved retirement lifestyle.
