I'm raising funds for my best friend, a strong and loving single mother, who is facing an unimaginable time. She recently lost her sister to a fentanyl overdose in California. While she’s been caring for her sister’s two older children in Colorado, the youngest—a toddler—is currently in CPS custody in California following their mother’s passing.

She is now working to bring both her sister's remains as well as her niece back home to Colorado. In the midst of this, she is also managing funeral arrangements, custody hearings, and the emotional and financial challenges of expanding her household. As a single-income mom, taking time off work adds even more strain to an already overwhelming situation.

Anything helps to support this devoted mother as she grieves, navigates legal and financial hurdles, and works to keep her family together during this heartbreaking time.
