My name is Tessa Nolan. My sister, Crystal Barnes, went in on January 4th to have what she thought was a cyst removed at the bottom of her spine. It turned out to be cancerous. She was diagnosed with Fibrosarcomatous Dermatofabrosarcoma Protuberans stage 3 soft tissue sarcoma cancer. On April 18th, 2024 she will undergo another surgery at Emory Winship Cancer Institute to remove the cancer. She will be at the hospital for a week at minimum.
