Sean and Crystal: Help with Medical and Deductible

As most have heard, Sean Brabant and Crystal Richter were travel southbound on US- 23 Saturday, December 22, 2018 to visit Crystal's family for the holidays. At around 1:00 pm a truck was traveling Northbound merging on to US- 23 and went through the Median  and struck Crystal and Sean's Van head on, pushing them into another vehicle in the right lane. The driver of the Truck that hit them was announced dead at the scene, the other two in the other truck were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.   Sean and Crystal were sent to U of M hospital with serious injuries. Sean's injuries are: Severe seatbelt bruising on shoulder, hips and stomach, Jammed knee and ankle, whiplash, cuts on different ares of his body and a concussion. Sean was released from Hospital shortly after the accident. Although he stayed by Crystal's side as her injuries were much more severe. Crystal had a collapsed lung that required a chest tube, spleen laceration that required her to be kept in ICU for several days for observation before beings released to general care and removing her chest tube. Crystal has minor cuts and bruises all over her body, 5 fractured ribs, multiple fractures on her spine (thankfully they are not near her spinal cord) head contusion and a concussion. Both Sean and Crystal are extremely sore, tired and relieved to finally be home. Crystal was released this morning from the hospital and is now going to have a steady road to recovery. After the accident, Sean has spoken to insurance companies, attorney's and more and they have been told that  the deductible for insurance, out of cost medical expense along with loss of wages will be at a minimum of $7,000.  Let's help them start the new year with a little hope that they won't be under a huge debt and can relax and not stress about bills from this horrific accident.  A food menu has been created to help them with meals for the next few days, They have help with their doggies, this is one thing that I know they won't truly want to ask for help with. After everything that Sean does for the community and its members, and Crystal does for our children, lets give back if we can!
