Hello,

Whether you know me as Coach Crystal, or as Kks Mom, or just Crystal you more then likely know that the past few years have been a struggle. One life changing challenge after the next .

We recently lost our rental and We currently are staying in a tent in a friends backyard. As fun as it is to be consistently in camping mode (sarcasm) we would rather be out seeing new things and beautiful places.

We have a court case that is expected to go to trial in May from our previous situation with mushrooms growing in the ceiling and the health issues related to our being exposed to massive amounts of black mold unknowingly. Until that is resolved I am continuing to suffer the financial repercussions and cannot find suitable and affordable housing for my daughter and I.

I’ve considered many options and the best one for us at this time is to travel and to use the time doing something positive and beneficial for us.

So I am planning to take kk on a trip across the country and back. We will be visiting some of the most beautiful places through out the United States. We plan to visit 30 states along the way as we make a big loop from California up through Utah, Idaho, South Dakota , Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Then back down and across through Washington D.C., North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, and Nevada.

This trip would be an amazing experience for my daughter and I. Since this is Kaitlyns last year of homeschooling this is probably our best and last chance to do a trip like this.

I expect to be on the road for 3 months. Returning in time for the 2024 swim season.

I will accept pre paid swim lessons for the 2024 season at the same rate I charged for 2023 if you would be interested in purchasing lessons instead of donating to help fund our trip.

I feel very strongly that a bigger, better, broader experience of the world (starting with the US) will give my daughter more perspective and will ultimately contribute to her ability to find happiness throughout the rest of her life. She is a beautiful soul and she has so much to see still in her life and I feel like lately her world has become very small and possibly a bit discouraging. I would love for the chance to open her eyes, her mind and heart.

As much as I am hesitant to seek help, for numerous reasons, I am even more certain that I must! So I am kindly and humbly asking for your help in any way or form you are able to offer. It is so gratefully appreciated. I am hopeful that the love myself and kk have shared with so many friends, students and neighbors will be felt and remembered in this request. I hope that the willingness to help us in this time of uncertainty will be with out hesitation.

Our hearts need to be refilled with love and our heads need to heal from all the stress and anxiety of just trying to survive and Be good, kind, caring people in the world. In our Own ways we try to give and love everyone even with the smallest of gestures. Despite that we feel very alone in our circumstances.
