My sister, Angela, her incredible daughter Savahanna and her wonderful 4 boys experienced a devastating house fire last night during her son, Steven’s 16th Birthday party, when her C-pap machine caught on fire in her bedroom.  This photo is earlier in the day at Steven’s Birthday laser tag — before returning home and just prior to the fire starting.  

We are so thankful that everyone got out safely but Angela lost just about everything in the master bedroom, including most of the presents purchased for Stevens birthday, all of the Christmas presents (because she hides them in her room until after Steven’s birthday) and many household items affected by the fire and water/smoke damage.  

The fire department has deemed the house “currently uninhabitable” die to the damage and since they had to punch through the ceiling to ensure the fire was completely extinguished etc...

We have set this page up as friends and family have been asking how they can help and all funds will go directly to the family for their direct use during this very difficult time.

And as her biggest sister, I always say, kindness matters.  And I wholeheartedly believe it’s true - but especially during times such as this.
