It started with a pain in her breast, but after her BRCA positive results a few years ago, Jamie knew to take it seriously.
After weeks of doctor appointments, scans, tests and the unknown, Jamie and Ron's world was rocked with her devastating diagnosis - triple negative ductal breast cancer. Since her diagnosis on July 21, 2020, Jamie's warrior spirit is shining through.
Jamie and Ron always wanted to have children and with her diagnosis, their timeline was delayed, but, again they persisted, with love in their hearts. From egg retrieval to embryo storage in a short window of time, all knowing what Jamie was about to endure – chemotherapy and a double mastectomy.
On September 15, Jamie completed her first chemotherapy treatment. With more treatments to come over the next few months, followed by a double mastectomy, Jamie and Ron have a long road ahead in their battle to crush breast cancer, but at every step, they keep God in their hearts and mind and remember "this to shall pass."
Your donations will provide unrestricted support for Jamie's diagnosis, chemotherapy treatments, double mastectomy and items related to getting her back into her fighting shape and spirit.
