On April 26,2018, Cody was admitted to Children’s hospital with a high fever and labored breathing. Although doctors have not been able to determine the cause for his debilitating illness, his team of doctors meet regularly to assess his delicate condition and treatment. Cody remains hospitalized in extremely fragile state as this mysterious illness has compromised his kidneys and his lungs. Through love from family and friends, prayers and amazing medical team, Cody has been able to make some small progress. He has been able to open his eyes and wiggle his toes. These baby steps bring his family and friends hope that he will be coming home soon. We have started a GoFundMe campaign to assist his family with current expenses, future care, a bed for Cody and air purifiers, which he will need when he returns home.
