Crusade for Carter H20

Hello my name is Jamie.  Carter's Nunnie. As many of you may know or not;  Carter was born with a broken heart called Tetrology of Fallot (A Heart Defect). From birth Carter has endured multiple open heart surgeries, heart vavle replacements,  the first open heart at only five weeks old, and he has been a fighter ever since. Now 11 yrs old; Monday, he was in a critical state when his heart rhythm skyrocketed putting his young life again in grave danger. We rushed him to UPMC Children's Hospital Pittsburgh where he is still. Carter has one great love, and that is football!! Carter knows he can NEVER play however; Bishop Canevin High School Football team (his #1) asked him to be their waterboy and from there, Carter H20 evolved! He takes such pride in walking out with the team wearing his BC H20 jersey, holding #6 Xavier Nelson's hand then running up and down the sidelines hyping up the crowd. It is such a joy to watch!! I am asking for support not just for Carter but for my daughter as well. Michele has never left Carter's side, missing work from a job she just was offered, so I need to try and help take some of the stress of costs ahead from her. We are a prayerful family with much faith and hope that all will be as it is to be. I have never asked for help for anything but I must do all I can to help take some of the pressure off of my daughter- Carter's mom so she can stay focused on healing him and caring for his siblings. Carter is #2 of 4 boys, so she has her hands full. Yet if you ask her, she wouldn't have it any other way. She is Mom. Our Carter wants nothing more than to be at the playoffs with his BC Team; I'm not sure that is possible right now. I do promise you this; to know my grandson Carter the Crusader (as Mike Clark of WTAE called him), is to truly love him. Carter makes you see the good in the world and for him, being BC's H20 guy is everything!! I must do all I can to help him continue to know the miracle of the good in our world. If you can find it in your heart to help me, help Carter and his Mom Michele I believe in my soul that you too shall be blessed. I can't say thank you enough for all the prayers, love and support for Carter, his mom and our family, so please know I am humbled by this and more grateful than I can find words. Beyond Thankful.
