From Spain to a new life ...

Without transport, there is no second chance. Help our dogs and cats reach their forever homes safely.

For the past **26 years**, **ACE|SHIN Charity Foundation** has been dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats in Spain that have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. At our shelter, they receive safety, medical care, love, and—most importantly—a second chance.

Thanks to our adoption programme, **more than 36,000 dogs and cats** have already found loving homes in mostly the Netherlands and Belgium. For every one of them, a new life began with one final, essential step: **the journey home**.

From September onwards, that final step is at risk.

Due to changes in European legislation and regulations, many animal transport companies have stopped transporting animals from abroad. Unfortunately, this also affects our trusted transport partner. Affordable alternatives have become almost impossible to find, and the few transport companies still operating charge prices that are simply beyond the reach of our charity.

**Without transport, the journey to a new life comes to an end.**

And the consequences are severe.

* Adopted dogs and cats will no longer be able to travel to their new families in the Netherlands and Belgium.

* Adoptions will come to a standstill, meaning the adoption contributions that fund our rescue work will disappear.

* Our shelter will become overcrowded, leaving us unable to rescue as many animals in desperate need.

* Ultimately, the future of our charity itself could be at risk.

We have been given a unique opportunity to purchase the current transport vehicle from our long-standing transport partner. This will allow us to maintain a reliable transport solution for our animals while making a responsible investment in the future of our organisation.

To ensure the vehicle is perfectly suited for transporting our dogs and cats, it will be fully adapted and upgraded. Improvements will include:

* A more efficient and comfortable layout for the animal compartments.

* An improved drinking water system.

* Optimal ventilation and climate control.

* A sustainable transport solution that will safely bring our animals to their new homes for many years to come.

This ensures that the final step in every rescue will remain possible for years to come.
