I write this with a heavy heart never expecting that I would have to ask for this type of help. I opened CrossFit West Covina 6 years ago with my good friend Raymond Gradillas. At the time we were two young men with no idea what we were doing. We just shared the love for fitness, the love for training, and more importantly the love to help others. Through those years with Ray as my partner we meet so many people and truly hope we were able to make an impact on your lives.
Fast forward a few years and now this amazing place is owned by myself and Coach Marcos. Coach Marcos “Baby” is one of those people who would give you his clothes off his back if he knew it would make a difference. I have taken the role of making sure this young man's investment in both himself, myself, and the people of CrossFIt West Covina do not go in vain. These times have truly tested us as a society and as a community.
Myself and Coach Marcos feel the tension of this world growing as more and more cases of Covid-19 pop up. We wanted everyone to know that as long as we have a voice we will continue to provide a service to all those who need it.
I have put my heart and soul into the love of helping others. I am one of those lucky people who get to do what they love every single day.
