Cross-Country Ride for Honor Flight

Donation protected
I decided to take on this cross-country ride because this cause is personal to me. Both of my grandfathers served in the United States Navy during World War II. One survived the Attack on Pearl Harbor, and the other was aboard the USS Northampton (CA-26) when it was sunk. Growing up hearing their stories made me realize how much sacrifice came before me—and how important it is that we continue to honor it. This ride is my way of doing that. I’ll be cycling across the country over the course of about 50 days, pushing myself physically and mentally to represent the resilience and dedication of the veterans I’m riding for. There will definitely be moments where it gets tough, but this mission is bigger than that.

The funds raised here will go directly toward making the ride possible—covering essential expenses like bike maintenance, gear, nutrition, and day-to-day logistics. My goal is to remove as many barriers as possible so I can focus fully on the ride and on sharing this journey with others. Alongside this, I’m also working to raise awareness and support for the Honor Flight Network, which provides veterans with the opportunity to visit the memorials built in their honor. If you’d prefer, you can also donate directly to them. Every mile of this ride is meant to carry forward the stories and sacrifices of those who served—including my grandfathers—and to make sure they’re never forgotten.

I can’t do this alone, and that’s why I’m asking for your support. If this mission resonates with you, I’d be incredibly grateful for any contribution—no matter the size. Every donation helps me continue this journey and keeps the focus on honoring the veterans who made sacrifices for all of us. If you’re not able to give, sharing this with others or following along means just as much. I’m also encouraging anyone who wants to support the cause directly to check out the work being done by the Honor Flight Network, helping veterans experience the memorials built in their honor. This ride is bigger than me—it’s about remembering their stories and making sure they continue to be told. Thank you for being a part of it.
