Florida to Maine Expedition to Gather Film Content

Hello! Thank you for visiting this page. My name is Scott Joseph Moore. I've been practicing various disciplines of visual art as far back as I can remember. When I was five years old, I was constantly being told to color INSIDE the lines of my coloring books. I never learned that skill. I always wanted to add something new to the picture. Something unique and original. I'm now 59 and I've been accepted with a Fellowship Grant to the MFA Program in Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art & Design. Looking ahead, I'm now hoping to add something unique and original to the motion picture industry. Some folks would say that it's a little late in my life story to be starting a new chapter, so in the spirit of taking extraordinary leaps of faith, I've decided to start a new BOOK instead. It will be the third and final book of the trilogy of my life story. I started moving towards this current creative trajectory into filmmaking about twenty years ago when I graduated from the Ringling College of Art & Design with a BFA in Computer Animation. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to work in film production. I've worked hard for minimal pay in various skilled labor jobs throughout the last four decades of this lifetime. I've sacrificed thousands of weekend and nighttime hours pursuing a career in the arts. Always striving to make something more of this life, something beyond working at a job that isn't fulfilling me or my higher purpose. At this moment I am up against a financial hurdle that will be difficult to surmount without your help. I've been waylayed in Saint Petersburg, Florida, since March. I need to get back up to Savannah, Georgia to start classes on 9/11/2023. Any donations I receive from this fundraiser will help me to pay for room and board, just until I can find appropriate employment. I am quite confident that I will be able to secure a job quickly at the college once I am in the rhythm of the coursework. I promise to provide a return on your investment, with interest, in the form of visual entertainment and thought-provoking content for many years to come. Hopefully, I can produce films that promote environmental awareness and aid in humanitarian causes. Films that will change our world for the better. I intend to begin my Independent Filmmaking career in Hope, Rhode Island, the little town where I spent many childhood afternoons coloring outside the lines!
