Darfield Christmas Lights Switch-On 2026 - Friday 27th November 2026

I’m reaching out to our wonderful community because I would love to create Darfield’s very first Christmas Lights Switch-On event! ✨

To make this a magical occasion for everyone, I’m asking for the support of local residents, businesses, and organisations to help with the costs and planning. Whether you can donate, sponsor part of the event, or volunteer your time, every bit of help will make a difference.

What we would love to include:

A very large Christmas tree

Christmas tree lights

✨ Additional festive lighting around the pub

⚡ A qualified electrician to ensure everything is installed safely

A small outdoor stage

A well-known local person to press the countdown button and switch on the lights

An outdoor marquee for the weather

We will keep you all updated on our progress...
