Over the past 30 days, our family has been hit with one unexpected vet emergency after another. Two of our cats, Squirrel and Roni, have been treated for serious bladder issues. In addition to our kitty issues - what started as a simple vet visit for our 10-year-old German Shepherd’s hotspot turned into something much more serious. During the exam, the vet discovered two mammary tumors that required emergency surgery to remove, along with an immediate spay to prevent further complications.

To make things even harder, we just moved across the country and are still working to get settled and find steady employment. The timing of these medical emergencies has been incredibly overwhelming, and the vet bills have quickly become astronomical.

These animals aren’t just our pets— they are our family.
