Losing my brother has been the hardest thing I've ever dealt with. For the past few months I've felt lost, hopeless, alone, you name it. A couple days ago, I hit a wall and decided to take a drive. I wasn't sure which direction to go, so I prayed about it. Something said Grand Canyon. So, I type this to you now from New Mexico. I should reach the Canyon before sunset today. My heart is telling me to keep going after that and see what this country has to offer. My bank account is telling me to reconsider lol. I don't ever ask for handouts, especially for my birthday. Well, I think this year I can make an exception. I can't explain what it would mean to me to receive anything from anyone whether it's $1 or $100, I can assure you, it would be put to great use. If you can, thank you. If you can't, thank you for reading, it would mean just as much if you shared my page. I'll go as far as money can afford me. What I've seen so far has been breathtaking. Here's to what lies ahead!
YALL HAVE BEEN AMAZING! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR YOUR GIFT! THE RESPONSE HAS BEEN PHENOMENAL!
Yall have given enough to get me to northern California and possibly even further north than that. To be able to just do that is crazy!! I have some people rooting for me to make it to the east coast as well to meet some old family. Help me make that possible and just give it a share could you?
This has been nothing short of amazing. I truly feel God's presence as well as my brother's. I have put this in His hands and I really believe he'll take me anywhere. I'm just along for the ride! I love yall!!
What an amazing opportunity this has been! We camped in Utah at Zion N.P., camped in Wyoming at Bridger Teton and Big Horn N.F., camped at the Hungry Horse dam in Montana, saw Mt. Rushmore and The Badlands in South Dakota, had a deep dish pizza in Chicago, saw one of the Great Lakes, we had a Lobster roll in Maine, got a picture at Fenway, and now we're in New Jersey!
THIS HAS BEEN SO WILD AND ITS ALL THANKS TO YOU!!!
WE'RE NOT DONE YET!!
7/23 update!
We woke up this morning and got an itch to go back west before we head home so we're heading to Colorado! Gonna stay in the mountains for a couple days and decompress after being in the big city.
Again, I can't thank yall enough for making this possible. It's helped tremendously!
7/24 update
Tomorrow we'll climb Pikes Peak. Matt and I said we were gonna do that together so it feels right to end this doing that. Chewy will be my stand in for Matt. I miss my brother so much. I know he'll be with me the whole way, but this is already so tough.
If you can give anything, even $5 will help me get back home after I finish this up.
God bless every one of you.
