Crohns Warrior Fight

Kendall has always since she was a baby struggled with stomach and digestive issues. At age 14 we finally received answers. She was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and rheumatoid arthritis. The crohns also affects her eyes and causes muscles spasms at times. Since 14 she has tried infusions, injections such as Humira, extremely strong meds such as methotrexate and currently we are trying Stelara. Throughout it all we have also done diet management. Unfortunately, nothing has helped tame this horrible disease! Most recently she had a bad flare in April and it was discovered that her Crohns had gotten much worse. Crohns is a disease where the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue. She had developed many more ulcers than previously seen. She spent her 17th birthday in the hospital. Now she is back in the hospital again only this time it is worse than the last time. We are awaiting more tests to determine her forward path and praying for a cure and for her to get healthy and be able to have a normal teenage life. The funds from this contribution will go towards medical care and financial assistance in taking care of Kendall and giving her the best chance at fighting this disease.
