For those of you who know Jack he is one of the most kindhearted, loving, funny, loyal and most hardworking person that I have ever known.
June of 2007 Jack was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease/Ulcerative Colitis which causes inflammation in the lining of the digestive tract leading to complications such as severe abdominal pain, malnutrition and fatigue. He responded to medication and that put him in remission. But as of January 2015 his Crohn's Disease/ Ulcerative Colitis resurfaced. Jack has been admitted to the hospital over 8 times during the course of this year with having to stay periods of 2 to 3 weeks per admission.
He has been on Remicade Infusions , multiple medications, and steroids. He has not been responding well to the treatments. Jack now has Diabetes due to having to take high doses of steroids. He is now being faced with the decision of possibly undergoing a Total Colostomy which requires removal of the entire colon and would have a colostomy bag permanently.
Due to this Disease Jack has not been able to work over the past 4 months because of being in unbearable chronic pain, very weak and a weight loss of 54lbs and the need for a rest room all day long. All of this has caused a hugh financial burden on our family with the upkeep of the mortgage, bills, medical expenses and everyday living. We have exhausted all of our savings and are having a tremendous hardship. We ask if anyone can help in any way to relieve some of this burden it would be greatly appreciated. We don't want to lose what we have worked so hard for after so many years, including our home. Please pray for our family during this diffiult time . Thank you
