Donation protected
Heather Dietz was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's diffuse large B cell lymphoma in November. Unknown where it started, she was alerted to it in July due to a large mass on her upper chest growing. She was referred to an oncologist and surgeon to figure out what it could be. She's had a surgical biopsy done to get that official diagnosis in November of what exactly it is. She had a PET scan done and found out, not only was it that mass on her chest but also in her lymph nodes, spleen, and right hip socket going into her leg. She's doing chemotherapy and other treatments which, even with insurance, is very expensive. Weekly labs and frequent PET scans as well now. She's having to use a walker now to get around due to the pain from it in her right leg and finds it hard to walk most days.
Although this cancer is "curable," it's so aggressive that there is a high risk of DLBCL or some other form of cancer coming back. Anything you can donate can help her.
