It is with the heaviest heart I share that yesterday at 10:20am the mountains called our exceptional, vibrant, spicy, funny, ink-covered, sweet-toothed, loving mother, sister, wife, and friend home to ✨Just Breathe✨ freely and dance with nature forevermore. Our hearts are broken yet our gratitude is enormous for the 36 years we got to experience Mary's zest for life, blooming, sharing of her talents, laughter, and adventurous spirit leaving us with cherished memories.

Pain free and at peace, a journey hard fought a life beautifully lived. We love you, Mary Helen Fouse! ⭐

She had hoped to donate her body to science, however in the end she had too few Reese's peanut butter cups and peach ring gummies in her to meet the weight requirement necessary. She was a proud registered donor, and they were able to take a couple small pieces of her beautiful eyes, so there's a possibility one or two people may be blessed by our brown eyed girl down the road.

We are planning a celebration of life for either April 20 or 21 in Missoula and will be sure to post the final date and details here as soon as they are confirmed. For those of you who have donated to the GoFundMe, your generous gifts will be used to help the family with the cost of Mary's cremation and celebration of life. Any remaining funds donated so far or that are on your heart to still donate will be put in a college fund fund/trust for Miss Mercy Olive to have access to when she's of age.

Those who know Mary know that she is an amazing, loving, caring, compassionate, passionate, talented and strong woman. That said, Mary is in a battle for her health. Mary has suffered with Cystic Fibrosis since birth, culminating in a double lung transplant at age 25. It has been 10 years since her transplant. This is the time frame when it has been typical that lung transplants start to fail. We love Mary and want to see her regain her strength and health and help provide her much needed income to keep her home and daughter with her.

Mary eats well, is an active hiker, an amazing massage therapist, and a very present mama to her little girl Mercy and is always seen with her fur babies in tow. Mary has been unable to work recently as her lung capacity does not allow her to "Just Breathe." If you can help at all, please do.
