Medical bills for Zachary

Our story starts wirh nose bleeds....each episode becoming bloodier and longer lasting.

We tried setting up an appointment with an ENT (which was nearly impossible to find an opening,especially at the end of the year).

So naturally the next step was the ER.

The first visit, we left after 4 hours of waiting. The next day we tried another ER, shout out to the "fantastic" Dr. that told us that 100% of people pick their nose, and we should refrain from picking ones nose. ......

That's 2 ER visit payments there.

Then we finally see an ENT an hour away. On our second visit, he suggests we go see a Pediatric ENT. That. Was. Nearly. Impossible. To. Find.

Appointment was set for mid April with a Pediatric ENT.

But it doesn't end there, we run to immediate care at 8pm mid match, and they send us to the ER and impower us to "not leave" without a CT scan.

And that my friends is the end of our search and beginning of battle.

After the scan the ER Dr. Was telling me about a mass in his face,eye,and brain. All the while looking at me in somewhat shock that I was not responding in shock. I knew something was wrong, and it wasn't because he was "picking his nose" !

Since the diagnosis it is confirmed that Zachary has cancer. He is a fighter and too hard headed to let this get him down. The multiple hospital visits and daily trips to the heart of Chicago downtown for radiation is what we have to do, definitely not what we want to do. Traffic, gas, downtown parking feea,and half the day gone are exhausting, although not as bad as actual radiation treatment.

We are thankful for the multitudes of prayers we've been showered with. And equally thankful for any money support as we are walking this path.
