Help with temporary lodging to be out of the heat

how you been trying to find permanent housing for months. I'm currently staying at a childhood friend's house. but I can't stay too much longer looking to get a hotel room for like a week until I can get the social services. plus I'm getting back surgery in the middle of Aug and I I need a place to recover please anything will help thank you God bless. it's hard having no place to go in 100° heat all day. I need money for the bus so I can go back and forth social services doctor's appointments or anything else I need
