Hello, I'm Sarah and I'm asking for help to save my cat from a mass in her small intestines with an urgent surgery that can save her life. She will need a specialist vet and a very serious operation to remove the mass.

Juliet, a very shy little lady, was rushed to the ER the morning of August 22nd at 3:00 AM (after open-mouthed labored breathing) where she was diagnosed with a mass inside her small intestine, causing intense pain. The mass is larger than her small intestines. It is pushing on her organs, causing her intense pain and bloating, while interfering with her ability to eat or properly digest any meals she does consume. She needs it surgically removed and biopsied so she can no longer be in intense pain and to be able to fully eat again.

Juliet is a very, very sweet and gentle cat I've raised since she was a little palm-sized kitten rescued as a stray, and she has been there for me through a great portion of my life. She was always a little chatterbox before this, and after her mass, she's been far quieter and withdrawn. We've only had each other at home since the last several months after my grandmother has been gone. She's been my rock through very hard times, especially after the loss of my grandmother, and I don't know what I would do if I lost her too.

The funds will be used to remove her mass, her biopsy, and any medications she would need after. Anything after that would be donated to another animal in need.

Any donation, no matter the size, means so much to me, and I just want to give my cat a fighting chance to live. Thank you to anyone who sees this.

Her surgery would take place at Epic Specialty and Emergency Pet Care and follow up would be at the same location.

UPDATE:

Thank you to everyone who shared and donated to help Juliet!! She just had her work done at the Specialty Vet today ( 8/25/2025 ) and is currently going to be on Prednisone and a prescription diet. Her check up with the specialist will be in two weeks.

From the very bottom of my heart thank you. Further updates will be posted here including post two weeks recovery. Any further costs will be used on both her prescriptions, the proceeding vet visit, and then donated to another animal needing assistance.

UPDATE 2:

She is currently putting her weight back on, not only maintaining weight but gaining it back, and fully eating again!! Her recheck is on the 12th ( 9/12/2025 ) and the final update ( hopefully ) will be posted after the vet recheck. Thank you again to everyone. It genuinely means more than I can ever say.

Final Update:

Juliet is recovering well after the vet recheck and is not only maintaining weight but is putting it back on. Her appetite is back and she's back to being talkative again!! She's going to be on her current medication level for another month for before they decide on either maintaining it or reducing. Thank you all again so very very much.
