Critical Mouth Surgery for Skye - She Deserves More Time

Hi, my name is Joelle, and I’m reaching out with a full heart and a lot of hope to ask for help saving the life of my sweet dog, Skye.

Skye has been by my side since I was 16 years old. When I moved out of my parents’ house at 18, she came with me — and has been my shadow, my safe space, and my best friend ever since. I truly cannot imagine my life without her.

Recently, Skye was diagnosed with advanced periodontal disease and gingivitis. This disease doesn’t just cause pain in her mouth — it has started to affect her bloodstream, and without urgent surgical treatment, it could shorten her life. It’s devastating. She’s still young and full of love, and she deserves many more happy, healthy years.

If you know Skye, you know she’s the cuddliest little teddy bear of a dog. She is the definition of a lap dog — always curling up on me for snuggles, always giving love, and always wanting to be close. Her gentle, affectionate nature touches everyone she meets. She doesn’t just live in my home — she lives in my heart.

I’m doing everything I can to cover part of the surgery cost, but as someone who supports myself financially, the full cost is beyond what I can manage alone. That’s why I’m turning to my community for help — to give Skye the chance she deserves to live pain-free and continue being the joyful, loving pup she is.
