Support Branden McNally: A Phantoms Youth Leader Injured in Texas

Our dedicated teammate, coach, and friend, Branden McNally (U18AA, Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth), suffered a severe injury while competing at the prestigious Silver Stick Tournament in Dallas, Texas.

Branden is currently hospitalized far from home, but we are hoping he will be able to return to the Lehigh Valley in the next couple of days to begin a difficult and extensive rehabilitation process.

A Dedicated Volunteer Facing a Financial Crisis

Branden is more than just a player in his final season; he is a selfless volunteer who is integral to the heart of our organization. He has devoted countless hours to our younger players:

Assistant Coach, U11AA: Branden spends his time mentoring our U11AA team, serving as an outstanding role model on and off the ice.

U8 Development Camp Leader: He spearheaded the organization and running of our successful U8 Development Summer Camp, helping new players fall in love with hockey.

Heart of the Rink: He is a constant, helpful, and positive presence at the Steel Ice Center.

The harsh reality is that Branden does not have personal health insurance. A young man who gives everything to his community is now facing a terrifying financial burden on top of a serious injury.

The Immediate Financial Barrier

The financial burden facing Branden and his family is immense. While his USA Hockey membership provides accident coverage, the policy requires a significant upfront payment:

This substantial amount must be paid immediately to process the bills from his hospital stay and treatment in Dallas. Once Branden is home, funds are urgently needed to cover:

Immediate Deductible: Covering the $3,500 required to activate the accident coverage.

Emergency Travel: Costs associated with his family’s emergency travel and bringing him safely home from Texas.

Long-Term Rehabilitation: Funding essential physical therapy, specialist visits, and medical supplies needed for his recovery over the coming months.
