Critical Emergency Fund for Archie Vezina & Family

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Archie Vezina on Friday, August 8th, 2025. He passed peacefully, surround by his loved ones. Prior to being placed on life support, Archie made it clear that he did not wish to prolong life by means that would compromise his quality of life. His wishes were honored with love and respect.

We continue to reach out to the community for support during this incredibly difficult time. The family is facing unexpected medical expenses and other costs that have arisen over the past two weeks. Any support- whether through donations, sharing, or keeping the family in your thoughts- is deeply appreciated.

On Tuesday, July 29th, Archie suffered sudden heart failure caused by atrial fibrillation. He was initially transported from Estevan to Regina General Hospital, where doctors placed him on an ECMO machine to support his heart.

Due to the severity of his condition, Archie was urgently airlifted on Friday, August 1st, to the Mazankowski Heart Institute in Edmonton, Alberta. He is currently on life support, fighting for his life with incredible strength and courage. His adoring wife (Sheri-Ann), their five children (Tommy, Gabrielle, Scott, Kristi, and Leanna) and his loving mother (Marjorie) are by his side during this incredibly difficult time.
