CRITICAL CONDITION: Help save Milly the service dog

Hello everyone,

My beloved service dog Milly is currently hospitalized in critical condition. She is a 9yo Rottweiler mix I rescued at three years old from animal control, and the sweetest dog you will ever meet.

She has supported me throughout the years with my cptsd and anxiety as a trained service dog, and now she is in dire need of my help. I am humbly requesting financial help for her increasing hospital bills, and ct scan costs.

In June of this year, Milly fell ill with Erlichea, a deadly tick born disease. She had several seizures, but we were able to stabilize her quickly and successfully completed treatment. She seemed to be recovering and was taken off anti-seizure medication.

On Thursday, September 26th, I was awoken at 6am to Milly having another seizure. This time, the seizures were much closer together in time. I quickly realized she was having cluster seizures, and rushed her to the hospital where she is now receiving treatment.

Unfortunately, despite the copious amounts of anesthesia and anti-convulsant medications she is receiving, Milly's seizures have not stopped.

She was found to have elevated liver enzymes, which we suspect stem from her pre existing condition; hypothyroidism. it is unclear if the seizures are being caused by her liver or her previous Erlichia diagnosis.

With her being unconscious, we are unable to administer her thyroid medication. On top of this, due to the 14+ seizures she has had, she is now unable to pee by herself, nor has she been able to stand up.

She is needing round-the-clock care, and with her condition worsening, Her bills have ranged from $500 to $1,500 per day.

We are hoping she will become stable enough to receive a CT scan, so that we may determine what is causing her deterioration and the best course of action. She will need ambulatory assistance to and from her CT appointment.

Please, help me save Milly's life. She is the greatest love of my life.

I am prepared to go bankrupt to save her. Every cent donated will be spent on her hospital bills.
