Critical Care Fund for Catherine Snow
Donation protected
Catherine Snow, the beautiful and vibrant 31-year-old daughter of Ed and Patsy Williamson of Jacksonville, and our son Jeff’s wife and soulmate, began suffering weakness, a fever and shortness of breath. On February 9, 2025 Jeff rushed Catherine to the ER at Gulf Coast Hospital in Ft. Myers, Fl. She was diagnosed with pneumonia and began receiving treatment, but her condition worsened each day. Catherine was life-flighted to Tampa General Hospital where she was in acute respiratory failure and placed on an ECMO machine, an advanced life support device that takes pressure off of her lungs in hopes that they will heal. Catherine remains in critical condition and is battling for her life. We believe she will be healed through the grace of God, but there is a long road to recovery including further treatment, rehabilitation, etc.
The physicians initially were stumped as to the cause of Catherine’s illness but it was ultimately determined that she is suffering from a rare and severe reaction to the antibiotic Bactrim (Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole).
The financial burden is heavy, medical expenses, travel costs, and lost income. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward Catherine's care and helping Catherine and Jeff through this unimaginable situation. They are both on FMLA from work in Fort Myers and their sick leave benefits will expire quickly.
More than anything, we ask that you pray for Catherine's complete healing. Pray for strength, for peace, and for the miracle of God’s Mercy. Catherine would love nothing more than to return to her career as a Certified Pediatric Nurse at Golisano Children's Hospital in Fort Myers, FL.
Thank you for supporting Catherine and Jeff.
