Critical car repair for vital medical appointment
Donation protected
I am a survivor of congestive heart failure, stage 3 kidney disease, and cancer. I have visits to the doctor 2 or more times per week. I am still able to drive myself and own a 2008 VW. However, the car currently needs a new air conditioner motor, estimated to cost roughly $1500.
I live in Florida, so the car heats to over 100 degrees sitting in the driveway and doesn’t cool off much in use. Several times, the extreme heat has made me so weak and shaky that even from the doctor’s parking lot, I haven’t had the strength to go inside. It is critical that I maintain my schedule of monitoring, treatment, and infusions. It may not sound medical, but it truly is!
