My dog Kali is currently hospitalized with a severe lung infection that was initially believed to be pneumonia. Unfortunately, she's not responding to antibiotics as expected, and the vets now fear it could be something more serious. There’s a possibility she may need to have part of her lung surgically removed to survive. She is only 4 years old and is the sweetest, most loving, playful dog you could possibly meet. This all just started for her Sunday, July 13th, and has progressed severely over the last two weeks. She is currently receiving oxygen, going on 48 hours. Doctors have submitted her radiographs to a certified radiologist to look more into them. Doctors are so confused as to what this disease could be. She needs a CT scan and further testing. This has been incredibly heartbreaking and overwhelming, and we’re doing everything we can to fight for her. Any help or support during this critical time means the world.
