Thank you everyone who donated, sent condolences or prayers, we’ve really gotten to see how much love and support flows through everyone and we cannot thank you enough. Cristy has been laid to rest as of October 27th so donations will no longer be accepted. We appreciate everyone who reached out or came to her viewing and burial. Just know Cristy was loved by so many people and had such an amazing community, you are all so appreciated. Take care of yourselves and make sure to surround yourself with love❤️

Thank you to all who have donated to me and my mom. It makes this nightmare a little easier for us to not have to worry about the financial burden that comes afterwards. I will forever be grateful for all that have donated big or small. From the bottom of my heart and my mom’s, thank you all for supporting us during this time.

Hi, my name is Sara and I’m trying to raise money to help the Nguyens pay for Cristy’s funeral.

Cristy Nguyen unexpectedly passed away October 15th. Cristy was a bright, beautiful girl who just celebrated her 21st birthday October 9th. She was studying to become an esthetician at Conestoga and was set to graduate next year. She was loved by her mother, her brother, and many friends who will dearly miss her. Because her passing was so unexpected her family was not prepared for the amount of planning and the amount for the funeral to put her to rest peacefully. The family does not want/expect anything from anyone but we as a community know how much a little support goes a long way. Cristy was young and heavily loved and supported by so many people, nobody can imagine losing a best friend, a sister or a daughter, especially this young. Please share this and know you do not have to donate anything but even if it’s just a little bit Cristy’s family and friends would appreciate it with their whole hearts.

Again you do not have to donate, it is okay to just send condolences, but any amount of donation is appreciated.

Please note that the family is not able to accept donations/gifts after her burial for culture reasons. As of right now the arrangements for her funeral are still being finalized.
