To start off thank you for your prayers and blessings. I’ve been trying to find the will to write what’s happening, but it’s been really hard to even fathom.
As of March 22nd my mom was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia a type of cancer that exists in the blood and bone marrow. It primarily affects the white blood cells, and does not allow for the healthy production of them.
She has just started chemo on March 26th to put up a fight against this illness. Her current status requires a month of treatment and exams in hopes that her body will respond well to the required therapy. Once treatment has ended I am looking to further her healing through a holistic practitioner that can further assist. If you have any information on a healer that specializes with these cases please send it my way.
I am open to any research or information you may have, it is a great help.
This has all come as a shock to my family and I and despite the recent diagnosis we are doing all we can to stay positive through this time. Medical bills are already coming my way as new information develops based on her diagnosis. Due to her extended stay at the hospital for her treatments she is unable to work and it is becoming difficult for me to leave her alone to go through this and make ends meet. I am asking for any donation that can help my mom get all the best treatment and alleviate some of the financial strain that will come as the medical bills increase. This will allow me to care for her and be there to make sure she has no worries other than recovering and getting strong to the best of her ability. This has been a terrifying situation and I’m just trying to do the best that I can. Despite the diagnosis my mama is still smiling and still radiating positivity. I want to make sure that her smile never goes away.
