In the early morning of December 7th God decided to take Cristina Jacobo with him to heaven. Left us all heart broken. For those who don’t know she passed away in an unexpected tragedy where she was diagnosed with HLH, a rare disease that usually occurs in infants and young children it may also occur in adults. Her organs, like her liver, was the reason she was admitted to the hospital. A week later she needed to be transported to UCLA for a “liver transplant”. In which the doctors at UCLA were wanting to find out the reason of why she would need a transplant. After being at UCLA’s care her kidneys started to shut down in which they needed to start her on dialysis. She then started doing good not having to need as much medication and was later taken off the breathing tube. Then suddenly started to have difficulty breathing in which she had to be put back on the breathing tube, til the last days having to be on critical max life support and her blood pressure was being stabilized with max medication until it suddenly started dropping down, to the point that there was nothing else to be done.

She meant a lot to many people, and still is loved by many and will forever be in our hearts. She was married to an amazing husband (who was there by her side til the end) and had 3 beautiful children, the youngest being 1 and the oldest being 7. She was a devoted and loving mother and wife, a wonderful person, and a true friend. She had so much love to give and life to live.

En la madrugada del 7 de diciembre Dios decidió llevarse a Cristina Jacobo al cielo. Nos dejó a todos con el corazón roto. Para aquellos que no saben que falleció en una tragedia inesperada en la que le diagnosticaron HLH, una enfermedad rara que generalmente ocurre en bebés y niños pequeños, también puede ocurrir en adultos. Sus órganos, como su hígado, fueron la razón por la que ingresó en el hospital. Una semana después, tuvo que ser transportada a UCLA para un "trasplante de hígado". En el que los médicos de UCLA querían averiguar la razón por la que necesitaría un trasplante. Después de estar al cuidado de UCLA, sus riñones comenzaron a fallar, por lo que necesitaban iniciarla en diálisis. Luego comenzó a sentirse bien al no tener que necesitar tanta medicación y luego se le retiró el tubo de respiración. Luego, de repente, comenzó a tener dificultad para respirar, por lo que tuvo que volver a colocarla en el tubo de respiración, hasta que los últimos días tuvo que estar en un soporte vital máximo crítico y su presión arterial se estabilizó con la medicación máxima hasta que de repente comenzó a bajar, a el punto de que no había nada más que hacer.

Ella significó mucho para muchas personas, y todavía es amada por muchos y estará por siempre en nuestros corazones. Estaba casada con un esposo increíble (que estuvo allí a su lado hasta el final) y tuvo 3 hermosos hijos, el más joven de 1 y la mayor de 7. Era una madre y esposa dedicada y amorosa, una persona maravillosa y una verdadera amiga. Tenía tanto amor que dar y una vida que vivir.
