Get Crispus to Cop27!

My name is Mwemaho Crispus a professional medical clinical officer, climate and enviromental justice activist from Uganda.

I am a cofounder at Abayuuti climate action network, a youth led organisation that offers climate and environmental justice education in communities, identifying and supporting frontline communities through livelihood projects to help them adapt and build resilience to climate change.

Over the last two years, we have been working with climate-displaced people in Western Uganda through projects like mental health awareness, farming, economic empowerment and children's education to help these people improve their livelihoods and adapt after devastating floods and landslides destroyed their homes and property displacing them to an IDP camp of Muhokya.

As a health professional, I have seen how climate change effects are detrimental to the physical and mental health of people at the frontlines, and I advocate for public health driven by climate and environmental justice.

Over the last few weeks, I have been trying to get a cop badge to help me attend Cop27 to represent my people and also share our projects with community-tailored solutions for climate-displaced people to help them adapt and build resilient communities.

Thanks to my friends, today I got a 2weeks pass at cop27, but I don’t have funding to facilitate my travel and stay in Egypt at COP27

I am starting this go fund me to help me raise 3500 usd to help me facilitate myself to cop27 and share the voices of the most affected people.
