#CrispusFilm is a love letter to the fallen Kalief Browder; a young man innocent of any wrongdoing,
 who committed suicide shortly after being released from solitary confinement.  His mother died of a broken heart last year.

Crispus is an upcoming short film written and directed by Ajani Amiri Thomas.  It follows the story of the title character, an imprisoned black man locked away in solitary confinement.  Through Thomas' lens, we explore empathy, love, dreams, God, and isolation.
