Crisis Reality

So, you all know life can sometimes throw you a bushel of lemons. Unfortunately, that's exactly what has happened to me. Last month I was unceremoniously dismissed from my one major source of income. Because that position was labeled "contract," there were no unemployment assessments paid on my income. This leaves me in a horrible crisis situation. I was working so much for that particular income source, many of my freelance opportunities withered. I am rebuilding those, and have started a new online news website called Lansing's Online News. But until I can get a board formalized and nonprofit paperwork filed, I am not able to raise the funds to support myself and the website at the moment.
So this leaves me needing to replace my income in order to cover basic needs. Among those:
Rent: $550 a month
Air Conditioning (medically necessary) $30 a month
Car Insurance: $134 a month
Car needs: $200 a month (that's gasoline, oil changes, etc.)
Internet: $60 a month
News and other source media subscriptions: $100 a month
Phone: $35 a month
Food and necessities: $300 a month
Dog care: $25 a month
Office supplies and equipment: $200 a month
Freelance expenses (FOIA and documents): $200 a month
Laundry: $25 a month
Total basic living expenses (estimate) $1859
Look, this sucks for me to ask for help. In fact, the last time I did this was years ago when the house I was living in and trying to buy had fallen into disrepair. The help was immense, but even then, I ended up unable to afford to continue living in that home and I had to walk away from the equity I had built into it.
So, I am turning to you all for help. Maybe you really appreciate my reporting, then help me get the documents I need to continue that work. Maybe you just wanna see me not wither away and die because of malnutrition or something. Maybe you are just looking to help some one out. Which ever reason it is, I appreciate any immediate help you can provide.
Thank you for your support, your thoughts and your continued belief in me. It means a lot.
