Crisis for Vet Care for VIB buns

Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage has offered a unique program for elderly and health challenged animals for the last 14 years, as well as placing healthy animals into new homes through adoptions.
Our VIB program provided vet care for the health challenged buns that go on to live long and happy lives. We refer to these rabbits as VIB's. The alternative for them was euthanasia.
Whilst unnecessary euthanasia has ceased due to our VIB program, our vet bills have climbed to an unmanageable level as the program has expanded over the years from 20 to 430 animals. Many of these animals are now living out their autumn years in good indoor homes.
Our current financial challenges are threatening
- the continuation of our rescue work
- our home where our rescue is based, as we may need to sell
- meaning the eminent closure of our rescue if a solution is not found.
We seek your support to assist us through donations to reduce these bills so that we can continue our rescue.
