Crisis after Devastating New Bedford Fire

Hi, my name is David McLean. I am reaching out to whoever can help with raising funds for two of my friends, Dominique Brown and her boyfriend whose name I shall omit for privacy reasons. On March 28, 2023, a fire broke out in their rooming house in New Bedford, MA. Dominique was not home at the time the fire broke out, but her boyfriend met a different fate. He was unable to evacuate the flames that engulfed the building and had no choice but to jump out the 4th story window to escape. He was Medflighted to Mass General hospital due to the injuries he sustained from the fall. He currently is stable, but has many broken bones and has already undergone multiple surgeries to combat his injuries from the impact of his split-second decision. He has more surgeries in the next week, but he is displaying determination to get better. I am trying to raise funds to cover the medical costs of treatment, future housing expenses for the two of them, and a clothing allowance. They have both lost all of their possessions in this fire, and the entire building is in shambles. Dominique has been displaced and is currently moving around friends' houses that have graciously housed her in her time of need. This gofundme will hopefully get her back on her feet, give her boyfriend a safe place to return to once he is out of the hospital and allow them to rebuild their lives.
