Dear family, friends, and community members. On January 27, 2024 in the early morning hours, a devastating fire broke out and destroyed our beloved pharmacy and connecting shops. This pharmacy is one of few pharmacies one can visit and the pharmacist and staff know exactly who you are and which medications you need and when they are needed — and know your name. It’s a family owned business and the Fatyan-Elcheikh family reveled in the fact that the pharmacy’s patients felt a sense of safety, respect , and recognition. It is a mom and pop shop and respected by the Valley stream community. We were devastated to know that we can no longer be able to operate and serve the community, and staff. We will rebuild and we will come back stronger. Please find it in your heart to donate, and share with family and friends, as this was a huge loss, both emotionally and financially for our family.
