Crippling Debt from Crippled Hands
Donation protected
Hey community! Over the last couple of years, I have accrued much medical debt trying to get my hands to function correctly again. Between several procedures on both hands, time off to recover, physical therapy, and paying out of pocket for assistants and physical aids, I'm about $10,000 in debt. I'm hoping to pay it off completely because, with the interest rates, I'm just not able to keep up.
I've been working myself into exhaustion taking care of kiddos at my sliding scale daycare, Casa de los Bebes. And working for my trans and intersex communities with TIGERRS. All this is just making me sicker and then I end up need more help from my assistants and this puts me further in debt. Anything over the goal will go to them. I really wouldn't have gotten through this without them and the rest of my community.
Thank you all for any support you can give!
