Crippled and Unemployed in a Moment

Hello I am Christina Todd the owner and operator of Butterfield Dog Grooming in Temecula California. I’ve been providing grooming services for 37 years in this valley. On the morning of April 14 my life changed in a instant. I stepped off my bottom step to help my arthritic, senior dog up the steps. My ankle rolled in a small hole and I broke two bones in my right ankle and severely bruised my left foot. I’m not allowed to walk on my ankle for eight weeks. Because my job requires me to be mobile I must purchase an electric wheelchair, build ramps to get out of my house, as well as purchase a carrier for my wheelchair to be transported to my work. I also have to outfit my car with a receiver to be able to attach the carrier. Also, I am occurring a lot of expense of running a business that is not making any income until I’m working and personal expense since I can’t pay myself a wage until I get back to work. Disability insurance will not be affective for a couple more weeks. Although, I do have medical insurance I am already incurring out-of-pocket expenses. I am anxious to get back to work ASAP. I miss my clients. I’m very hopeful that you will take my situation into consideration. Your donations would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.
