Crimson and Slate is a competitive A Cappella group from Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs. It was created by director Dawn Wisdom in 2016 as a combination of the all-female Crimson A Cappella and the all-male Slate Vocal Band.

The group has appeared at the NACC Championship, ICHSA National Finals, NCHSA National Finals, they've opened for several professional a cappella groups, and performed in venues across the country.

Dawn Wisdom started the a cappella groups at CMHS in the 2002-2003 school year. This year we are celebrating 22 years of a cappella at CMHS!

Each year Crimson & Slate record and release music, and we recently got back from the Kettering National A Cappella Festival in Ohio, where we appeared as a showcase group. We will also be attending the National A Cappella Convention in Orlando, Florida this spring. Your donations would help us pay for these trips and the costs of producing our album and music videos.
