Crickett's Custody Legal Fund
Donation protected
Calling all friends and family and sympathetic hearts! Crickett Hummel is an amazing mother, coworker and soul. She is one of my staff members that I have the honor to work with on a daily basis. We work together for Leander ISD within a Special Education classroom. She recently received divorce papers from her husband that not only seek to take everything from her financially, but more devastating, her children. Her husband is seeking a 70/30 custody split with their three young children (Peyton 6, Cameryn 8 and Ryleigh 10) despite him not currently, nor ever, providing the majority of their daily care. Crickett has given everything to the care and wellbeing of her children, and has no savings or assets of any kind to fall back on (working in education is a labor of love, not one of financial success) and now, she has an urgent need to acquire legal representation.
I'm helping her with this fundraiser so she can keep her focus on her children where it belongs. Anything that you can donate, to help her acquire the services of a family lawyer, would be appreciated beyond what words can convey. If you cannot donate, please help spread the word and help us reach our goal of $3,000 for the initial retainer fee for legal representation. As this process moves fast, we need to try to reach this goal by Friday May 7th. Divorce is never easy on children, but taking them away from the sole caretaker that they depend on for daily snuggles, love, and care is unacceptable. Help her fight for what is best for her children!
