Cricket: Broken and Left for Dead

Meet Cricket, a 5-week-old kitten found on the front porch in an upturned milk carton, trapped in agonizing pain. Her arrival was incredibly suspicious to the Good Samaritan who discovered her.

She was rushed to me in critical condition. Her body temperature was too low to read (below 93°). She was bradycardic, unable to keep her eyes open, and unable to lift her head.

After 45 minutes of Fading Kitten Protocol, I rushed her to the ER for X-rays and pain meds because of her distress.

She was stabilized and discovered to have a femur fracture with possible pelvic involvement.

This fund is for Cricket to receive ongoing veterinarian care in the following ways:

- Splinting/casting

- Follow-up radiography

- Orthopedic consultations

- Pain management

- Supplementation for anemia and poor nutrition.

Her funds will FOLLOW HER!
