Louisiana Flood Relief
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Ernie Hernandez, a member of Life Pointe Church and owner of Celebrity Rehab & Medical Center in Homestead, Florida.
I'm setting this up because we have a need and a situation in Louisiana. The most recent storms and floods have destroyed many homes and churches. Lives have been lost with this tragedy. Water has risen as high as 7ft in many areas and in many homes, the river has gone above sea level to almost 20 plus feet.
Our Pastor's wife's family lives in LA, her Father is also a Pastor and both their home and Church is under water along with everyone else in Baton Rouge.
We have to come together as a community and try our best to help all these families in need that have no food, water or even a place to call home because of this tragedy.
My family and Church have decided to do whatever we can to bring help to all these families in need as quickly as possible.
My former employer, Palm Express/Averitt Express has donated a 53 ft trailer which will be delivered to Life Pointe Church @ 27500 Old Dixie Highway, Homestead, tomorrow morning so we can begin filling it up as quickly as possible.
We are asking for your help!!! Anything you can bring to LPC would HELP INCREDIBLY and will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
ITEMS NEEDED:
Water
Hygiene (toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, etc...)
Non-perishable food items
1st aid
Diapers
Baby food
School supplies
Cleaning supplies
Gloves
as well as money to help with transit.
Please spread the word and share this message with all your friends and family!!
These families really need our help and I'm sure "WE CAN ALL" help!
Thank you in advance and God bless all of you always!!
