CRH EDP IRL&NI Team Challenge 2023

EDP is a 7-month development programme running across the CRH businesses in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Employees will be working on a project as part of a small team, from a charity initiative to tackle an issue that is important to our business. Ten teams will be taking part in the challenge. They will work as a team to raise funds for a worthy cause, build team relationships, and hopefully have some fun along the way.

The first team challenge is a fund-raising initiative for Samaritans.

Samaritans is the only charity in Ireland offering emotional support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to anyone who is in distress, lonely, struggling to cope or feeling suicidal. They have been supporting people in Ireland since 1961. Their volunteers have had millions of potentially life-saving conversations with callers through their freephone helpline, email, face-to-face support and outreach in communities, schools, festivals, and prisons. Samaritans have 21 local branches across the island of Ireland (13 in RoI and 8 in NI) which are run independently by a network of volunteers.
