I was originally diagnosed with colon cancer in November 2022. I went through radiation, chemo, and two surgeries and was cancer-free by July 2023. In the meantime, I lost my husband of 21 years to cancer in May 2023. In February 2024, a very specific and wonderful set of circumstances led me to reconnect with someone from my past, and we married in August. While still newlyweds, with a new home and four children between us, we got the devastating news that my cancer has returned. Unfortunately it is now metastatic which means it is not curable but hopefully treatable. I went back on chemo in March, and I am uncertain as to what the future holds for us, but one thing that is guaranteed is the medical bills. Please consider helping our family with this burden if you are able.
