Helping Lauren Heal
Donation protected
Well, folks, just like you, we had high hopes for 2021 but it looks like 2020 just won’t quit!
Our dear friend (and yours) Lauren Ashley Wackell has suffered from an unexpected health setback and we started this Go Fund Me to alleviate some of the financial pressures while she recovers. Lauren, as you all know, is the most generous, kind, and loving person who puts her friends, family, pets, and even strangers above herself so frequently and this time we, on her behalf are asking for your help (because she won’t!)
Lauren rang in the new year with what seemed like a minor ankle injury that, through a bevy of complications, turned into a short stint in the ICU with deep vein thrombosis and blood clots in her lungs. It was an incredibly scary and dangerous situation that was luckily caught quickly and although she is receiving amazing care at Vassar Hospital, she is not yet out of the woods.
Between the hospital fees, at-home care, a lack of mobility, and need for rest, Lauren, Michael, and their pups can use our help! We don’t yet know the extent of the financial burden but our goal is that through this fundraiser, the Wackell family will have one less thing to worry about on the road to recovery.
Any and all contributions are welcome and appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your support!
With love,
Team Lauren
